We currently ship within the contiguous United States only.
When and how your box ships
Your whole box ships together as a single parcel once it's complete. A box made up entirely of volumes we already hold ships quickly once it locks. If your box mixes on-hand volumes and volumes we order from a distributor, we wait until the distributor volumes arrive, then pack everything and send the complete box at once. Partial boxes ship once all of their approved volumes are on hand. You'll get a tracking email when your box is on its way.
Used copies
Used copies are gently-read and one-of-a-kind — each listing is a single physical copy, so when it's gone, it's gone. The condition shown on the volume page is the condition you'll receive.
Returns & refunds
For the monthly box, you're only ever charged for the volumes that ship — we set the charge after your box locks:
- Cancel a box while it's still proposed or in review and nothing is charged for that cycle.
- When a locked box uses fewer slots than your tier quota, your charge drops to the price of the tier matching the slots you received — you pay the smaller amount rather than your full tier.
- If a cycle has nothing shippable at all, the box doesn't lock and you aren't charged for that cycle.

Damaged items
Returns are only accepted for merchandise that arrives damaged. Used copies are the exception — because each is a single, one-of-a-kind physical copy sold as-is, used volumes aren't eligible for return.
