The Grimoire is built around a monthly subscription box: build a shelf of the series you want, and each cycle we propose a box you can review before it ships. Prefer one-offs? Every volume - new and used - is also available to buy outright.

Curated from your shelf, not a grab bag

We started The Grimoire because tracking down the next volume of a long-running series shouldn't be a part-time job. Instead of a random sampler, every box is drawn from the runs you're actually chasing. You build the shelf of series you're seeking; we do the hunting, propose a box, and let you review before anything ships.

You hold the final word

Nothing ships until you've had a chance to look it over. Swap a volume, trim the box, or lock it in — and if we can't fill it the way you wanted, you only pay for the volumes that ship. Less hunting, more reading.
